Sammy Rhodes Cool, but in no way arrogant, a snappy dresser, a very good golfer. We played against each other in High School, became friends and teamed up against some of the best in the area. A fun loving guy, always liked a good time. I never heard anyone speak a harsh word toward him. Pam, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. George

Sammy was in my class in first grade. Our class was held at the Methodist Church because construction on South End School was not complete. I loved him to pieces. I got in trouble for trying to kiss him in line one day. He didn't like it and neither did the teacher. I have thought fondly of Sammy all these years and am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is a great loss. May God give you comfort and the strength to get through these rough times. God Bless you.

Sammy and I had a lot of fun at the Celebration in Tenn. for many years. It has not been near as much fun in the past years without Sammy. But we know he is in a better place in Heaven. He is at the Big Clebration now.He made the work out and God has call the class and Sammy has won the Big Championship Stake Class now. Sammy's trophy is eternal life with no suffering or pain. What a reward. Rest In Peace my friend. Bill Hixon PO Box 6247 North Augusta,S.C. 296861
