Frances Ann Smith Roach, 66, of Georgetown, Delaware, passed away on July 6, 2011, at Del. Hospice Center in Milford, DE. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 14 at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens in Eden. Mrs. Roach was born in Lexington, N.C., the daughter of the late Leonard and Minnie (Allred) Smith. She was a realtor in Delaware for 27 years. Mrs. Roach attended Bayshore Community Church of Rehoboth. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William "Bill" Roach; three children, John Roach and wife Brenda, Lenny Roach and Stephen Roach; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Tabitha Roach. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, July 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home in Eden. Memorial contributions may be made to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.fairfuneralhome.com

Billy & family, I want to express my condolences to each of you. I had not seen Ann in a lot of years but everytime I go up Hamilton St., I think about her when I see the spot where the mobile home she lived in sat. Know that she is safely wrapped in the arms of our Lord and pain free. May God Bless each of you.

I haven't seen Ann since I left school in '62. I do remember how beautiful I thought Ann was then. She was always so understanding and willing to "listen" with her heart.
