Charles Michael "Mike" Willard, 67, of 737 Cascade Avenue, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 at his home. There will be no formal service or visitation. A native of Rockingham County, NC, Mr. Willard was born November 23, 1943, son of the late Cedric and Marie Pender Willard. He was a 1962 graduate of Morehead High School and a US Army veteran. Mr. Willard served on the board of the Rockingham County Farm Bureau and was a former member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Surviving is his brother, James S. Willard of South Dakota; three nephews, Patrick Willard of Eden, Kenneth Willard and Kenneth Wilson Willard both of Grand View, Indiana; and three nieces, Hunter Willard of Eden, Alexia Willard and Veronica Willard, both of Grand View, Indiana.
