To Mary Annie's Family: I'm the oldest granddaughter of the late Haze and Susie Hall and the oldest daughter of the late Charlie D. Hall, Susie's son. My Mother, Lessie Hall, informed me of Mary Annie's passing yesterday. My husband, Gary, and I extend our heartfelt sympathy and prayers to the entire family. I always will remember how much Granny Hall loved Mary Annie and will remember the times I saw Mary Annie as a child growing up at Granny's house, Granny and Grandpa Hardie's home, Charlie and Gustava, in Ridgeway or in later years at the Hardie reunions. I can personally say she was a lovely, kind person and will certainly be missed by all who knew her. Love, Gary O. and Judy H. Ingram

Dear Preston, My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. It is inadequate and inappropriate to think of an elderly parent as "moving on to a better, more peaceful place." Losing a parent at any age is truly a great loss. I remember your Mom and her biscuits from our childhood - a wonderful, caring person. You are blessed to have had her for a Mom, and she was equally blessed to have had your love and caring over the years. God bless you and your family. Take care, be well. We Love you and yours. Bill

To the Family of Mary Annie, I really enjoyed talking with Mary Annie at our family reuions at Fisher Farm Park...she was an extraordinary woman--she reminded me of my grandma, Susie. I know it's hard to loose someone but she's with her Lord and Saviour and other family members and she's happy now and not suffering. Even though I hadn't seen her a in a while, she was always in my thoughts....I know my Mom, Lessie speaks of her often and thought a lot of her too. My thoughts and prayers are with you and God will keep you and comfort you in the coming days.. By the way, I'm Susie Hall's granddaugher if uou don't recognize the name. God Bless you, Darlene Hall Earles

Dear Preston and family, Though I did not know your mother, I know that her daughter, with whom I went to school, was a very fine person. So, if she was like her daughter, I know that she is sorely missed. Please accept my condolences. Preston, I shall see you at the upcoming reunion if all goes well. Bob Wilson

My deepest sympathy goes to all the family members of Mrs. Meeks. I have such fond memories of living across the street and my visits with her. I loved sharing the Jan Karon books with her and sitting in the rocking chairs talking. A note wouldn't be complete from me if I didn't mention those green beans! Nothing was appreciated more than to hear her sweet voice call me to come over to eat green beans. She will be missed by all those lucky enough to have known her. She loved you all very much. May you find peace in knowing she was loved by so many. Ann

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Meeks. She was a wonderful neighbor and my family's seamstress for many years. We were blessed to have known her, shared stories with her, eaten her wonderful food and donned clothing that she so beautifully altered. She had a beautiful soul and will forever be remembered.

I remember Mrs. Meeks so well. It was always a pleasure to go to her house to get her to do alterations for me. She was always so loving and pleasant. I was just thinking about her a couple of weeks ago when I passed her house. God bless all of you.
