Daisy Holt McDaniel, 79, of 614 Bryant Street in Eden, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 19, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. McDaniel was born September 11, 1933 in Rockingham County, NC, daughter of the late Sherman John Holt and Ida Jarrett Holt. She was a member of First Assembly of God.
She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bobby" McDaniel, of the home; daughter, Amy Weber and husband, Richard, of Delaware; two sons, Wayne McDaniel of Eden and Rusty Woods of Baltimore, MD; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred H. Craddock of Eden; and brother Sherman "Trigger" Holt and wife, Darlene, of Wendell, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Yalonda M. Boyte.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 7 - 9 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
