Josephine "Jo" Rea Tuggle, 76 of 309 Greenwood Street, Eden, passed away Monday morning May 27, 2013 at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Tuggle was born May 6, 1937 in Leaksville, NC to the late Robert H. Rea and Elsie Smith Rea. She was a member of Eden Baptist Church for several years and retired from Rockingham County School System as a Child Nutritionist.

Preceeding her in death along with her parents was her husband, Rufus Franklin Tuggle and son, Kenneth Marion Tuggle.

Surviving her memory is a son, Ricky Tuggle and wife Novie all of Eden; a daughter, Kay Thompson and special friend James Stump; ; brother, Jack Fletcher Ray and wife Kathy of Greensboro; two sisters, Mary Lou Kidd and husband Bob of Siler City and Mae Holt of Greensboro; six grandchildren, Christy Carter, Jason Tuggle, Jessica Tuggle, Rane Tuggle, Brittney Knaack and Beth Thompson; seven great grandchildren, Taylor Tuggle, Gage Rawlins, Tristyn Rawlins, Turner and Conner Westmoreland, Hannah and Hailey Knaack.

Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Tuesday evening at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home.
