Lynn Harding Stephenson, 71, of 1007 West Ave. in Eden, passed away Sunday afternoon at the Hospice Home in Wentworth, NC.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Lynn was born in Eden to the late Talmadge and Ruby Brooks Stephenson. He was an avid Shag dancer and was a Shag Hall of Fame member and also a me mber of the Living Legends Shag Association.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy. Lynn is survived by his loving partner, Deborah Walker Johnston of the home and his son, Christopher Stephenson and wife Debra of North Myrtle Beach, SC.
Fair Funeral Home in Eden, NC is assisting the family.

So sorry to he about Lynn. You and the whole family is in my prayers. Lynn was a wonderful person. I have known him sence we were teen-agers. We had so good times at Lynn Rock Swimming Pool. He is resting in the arms of God now. May God bless each of you
