Mary Wheatley Stultz, 79, of 1321 Carolina Avenue, passed away Monday evening, May 13, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Shelia.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, May 17, at First United Methodist Church of Draper. Burial will follow in Danview Cemetery.

Mrs. Stultz was born December 16, 1933 in Russell County, VA; daughter of the late William Henry Wheatley and Mary Elizabeth Cundiff Wheatley. She was a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills.

She is survived by her husband, R. Norwood Stultz; three daughters, Shelia Mostella and Roger Pryor of Reidsville, Kathy Stultz Fulton of Reidsville and Anita "Sissy" Stultz Carroll and husband, David, of Eden; three sons, Robert "Bobby" Stultz and Kandi Thompson of Charlotte, Kenny D. Stultz of Reidsville and Keith Stultz of Eden; 11 grandchildren, Tasha Mitchell, Shane Stultz, Joshua, Kirsten and Logan Fulton, Ashley and Brittney Mostella, Emily and Alivia Stultz and Matthew and Daniel Carroll; three great-grandchildren; sister, Jettie Stinson of Alexandria, VA; and brother, Bill Wheatley of Clarksville

The family would like to express a special thanks to Roger Pryor, Vinson Billingsley and Debbie Trask, also to the staff of Hospice of Rockingham County, for all their care and support. A special remembrance is expressed for the late Chase Stone for his loving care, as well.

Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 2541 Baker Crossroad Road in Reidsville.

Sorry to hear about Mary.She was a fine lady. She will be missed by all that knew her. he was always ready with a helping hand and a smile. I worked with her at Hardees. We shared some good laughs together. She talked of all you and the grandchildren. I talked of mine.She also knew Lily my grandchild. Lily always stopped at the booths she and Anita were working. She loved you dearly.Take care. Turn to each other now, that's what she would want. If you don't know me, Im the oldest Hall girl. I grew up on High St.May God bless you each.
