Leon "Buck" Jackson Wise, 93, of 248 Laurell Drive in Eden, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 3, 2013, at Morehead Nursing Center.

The family will receive friends, locally, at the home of his son, John, at 248 Laurell Drive from 5 - 8 PM on Friday evening, April 5. Fair Funeral Home is assisting the family during their time here in Eden.

The funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, April 8, at Morris Funeral Home in Hemingway, SC with a visitation being held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Wise was born August 5, 1919 in Waycross, GA; son of the late John L. and Angie Keefe Wise. He was a member of Johnsonville Methodist Church in South Carolina and a retired salesman for Prosser Department Store and Ruffin's Department Store.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Evans Wise of Eden; son, John Wise and wife, Mae of the home; granddaughters, Wendy Barrow and husband, John of Lewisville, NC and Terri DeLancy and husband, Al of Hillsborough, NC; and six great-grandchildren.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 919 North Michigan, Suite 1000, Chicago, IL 60611.

We are so very sadden at the passing of Mr Wise. We all loved him very much. He always had a great big smile on his face and would tilt his head and wink that beautiful blue eye at you.
