Justin Troy Holland age 23 of 624 Church Street, Eden passed away on Friday evening March 1, 2013 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
A funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Holland Family Cemetery.
Justin was born May 17, 1989 in Eden, NC. He was a graduate of Morehead High School Class of 2008 and had formerly worked at the Rockingham County Opportunity Center. He was a member of Spray Baptist Church. Justin was an avid Jeff Gordon "Nascar" fan and Carolina Tarheel fan. Justin enjoyed the outdoors and especially fishing.
Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glenn and Lorene Worsham Byrd; great aunt, Faye Flinchum and great great aunt, Jessie Keaton.
He is survived by his father, Tony Mitchell "Mitch" Holland II; his mother, Glenna Byrd Hall; sisters, Jennifer Carter and Julia Hall; paternal grandparents, Tony and Alva Holland; uncle and aunt, Todd and Gina Byrd and their children, Bryce and Blake; aunt and uncle, Misty and Bradley Richardson and their son Braden; great uncle, Troy Flinchum, all of Eden.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of his grandparents, Tony and Alva Holland, 205 Devonway Street, Eden.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of American, 4340 East - West Hwy, Suite 350 , Bethesda, Maryland 20814.

Dear Family, please know that Justin is okay, he is with Jesus now, you all will miss him dearly, and so will others that knew him, and understood him. I saw him some months ago, and he didn't remember me at first, and then he did, and he gave me a big hug. I joked with him about his hair on face, he just smiled, and I wished him well.
