Eunice Elma Harris, 88, of 755 Spring St., passed away early Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden, NC. The funeral service will be held Wednesday February 13, 2013, 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery in Eden.
Mrs. Harris was born September 16, 1924 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Tony Wade and Dollie Wright Clark. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church in Eden, and was a homemaker most of her life.
Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Diane Callicutt and husband Sammy of Madison, NC, Darline Wright Harris and special friend Darrell Aldridge of Reidsville, NC, one son Thomas H. Harris and wife Sheena of Mayodan, NC, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Lee Harris, two brothers, Paul Clark, T.J. Clark, four sisters, Olua Pulliam, Elsie Carter, Beatrice Rorrer and Dorothy Wade, and two infant sisters.
Visitation will be held February 12, 2013, Tuesday evening from 7 until 9pm at Fair Funeral Home.

Dear Darline, Diane, & Thomas My heart goes out to each of you. GOD truely took an angle home. Elma was such a wonderful lady, always very happy a real survent for GOD, I remember even as little boy when we would visit she always wanted to give me something before I left. Well we know today she is with grandma, mama & Amanda having a reunion walking the streets of gold with our LORD. Our thoughts and prayers will be with each of the family.
