To Tinker and Amber, Shine on you crazy diamond! I don't know what to say except I have always respected you since I was a horse girl 40 years ago. Pass easily my friend, I am filled with ultimate sadness from a very deep place in my soul. Take the time to adjust to the other side and remember your soul mate who is devastated and she doesn't know what to do without you right now. Don't forget to come back and kiss her cheek and brush your hand across her hair everyday. She needs you more now than she ever did.

Dearest creator in Heaven Give me strength to guide my horse Make my hands soft and my head clear Let my horse understand me and I him My heart you have blessed with a special love of these animals Let me never loose sight of it. My soul you have gifted with a deep need for them. Let that need never lessen. Always let my breath catch as the sun gleams on an elegant head. Always may my throat tighten at the sound of a gentle nicker. Let the scent of fresh hay and a new bag of grain be sweet to me. Let the touch of a warm nose on my hand always bring a smile. I adore the joy of a warm day on the farm. The grace and splendor of a running horse. The thunder of hooves makes my eyes burn and my heart soar. Let it always be so Dearest Creator, grant me patience. For horses are harnessed wind and wind can be flighty. Let me not frighten or harm them. Instead show me ways to understand them. Above all dear Creator, fill my life with them. When I pass from this world, Send my soul to no heaven without them. For this love you have given me graces my existence And I shall cherish and praise you for it for all time. Author unknown

Amber, we were so saddened to learn of Tinker's passing. Just wish I could have spoken to him one more time. We first met Tinker when he bought our house in Eden. We found him to be a 'straight-up'business man and later a dear friend. Was also good to see him anywhere and say 'hey' and see his pleasant demeanor. I am so happy that he found you Amber, the love of his life. After meeting you I understand why he was so crazy over you. May God give you peace in the coming days. Robert and Janice Turner

Tinker was always so kind to me and my family. He allowed my third-grade class to take a field trip to his ranch a little over 20 years ago. We were content to see his horses, but he went out the week before and purchased goats just so we would have more animals to see and learn about. I have never forgotten that. I am saddened to hear of his passing and I send my most sincere condolences to the loved ones he left behind. He will not soon be forgotten by the community he called home.
