Ronald "Ronnie" Chatham Morris,age 57 of 984 Eden Road, Stoneville,NC , passed away on Friday morning, January 18, 2013 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm Sunday at Trinity Wesleyan Church with burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
Ronnie was born March 16, 1955 in the Leaksville section of Eden to the late Norman and Geraldine Chatham Morris. He was a graduate of Morehead High School Class of 1973 and received a Associate Degree from RCC. Ronnie was employed by Proctor and Gamble.
Surviving is wife, Joni DeHart Morris of the home; daughter, Kelly Blankenship and husband Chris; brothers, Ricky Morris and wife Brenda, Gary Morris and wife Kelli; uncles, Bud Chatham and Bill Morris and wife Lucille; aunt, Nancy Cole and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will no formal visitation but friends can come by the funeral home to pay their respect on Saturday afternoon, the family will be meeting at the home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Home of Rockingham County, Po Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375 or American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Rockingham County Chapter, 4 Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.

Joanie and Kelly: Ronnie fought the fight and now he's safe in the arms of Jesus fully healed. You and Kelle, along with her husband have stood beside him as long as you could. I have known him since 1st grade at Leaksville Graded and we graduated together in '73. He was a favorite at our office (Eden Chiropractic) and we will miss him terribly. He was a wonderful person and had a heart of gold. He told us all kinds of stories about the animals and especially your baby goat.
