Sandra Dayle Lester Hudson, 69, of 1350 Lincoln Street in Eden, passed away Monday evening, January 7, 2013, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, January 10, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hudson was born May 6, 1943 in Rockingham County, daughter of the late Randolph and Louise Alderman Lester. She was a member of Gospel Tabernacle and a retiree of Pillowtex.
She is survived by her husband, E. Booker Hudson of the home; nieces, Billie Jo Walker and husband, Ronnie and Angela Compton and husband, Tim, both of Eden; brothers-in-law, Gene Hutson and wife, Betty and Bill Meadows and wife, Jamie, of Eden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judith L. Meadows and brother, Charles Lester.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 7 - 9 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her niece, Billie Jo Walker, 1278 Lincoln Street in Eden.
