June Hoogland Tapper, age 86 formerly of Westchester Circle, Pinehurst NC , passed away early Thursday morning December 27, 2012 at the Brian Center in Eden, NC.. There will be no formal funeral service or visitation.
Fair Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Tapper.
Mrs. Tapper was born June 19, 1926 in Springfield, ILL. to the late Clarence and Euna Alexander Hoogland. June was a graduate of Northwestern University and was a member of the Sandhills Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi in Pinehurst, NC. Preceding Mrs. Tapper in death along with her parents was her husband John "Jack" D. Tapper.
Surviving are sons, , John D. Tapper III of Rio Rancho, NM, Dr. David Tapper and wife Jennette of Eden, Charles Tapper of Owasso, OK and Christopher Tapper and wife Kristen of Bellevue, KY., brother, Charles Hoogland and wife Kay of Springfield, ILL,12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
