Mack "Mike" Coy McDaniel, 83, of 527 Glovenia Street, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 18, 2012, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. There will be a graveside service held 11:00 am Saturday October 20, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville, NC.

Mr. McDaniel was born April 5, 1929 in Axton, VA to the late Robert McDaniel and Elsie Roach McDaniel. He served in The US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He also retired from Fieldcrest Mills after 40 years of service where he worked as a supervisor.

Surviving are his sisters, Eunice Ross and husband Ron of Richmond, VA, Lona Pitts of Charlotte, NC, his beloved friend and companion Freida Williamson of Trinity, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Joline Cooper McDaniel.

Visitation will be held following the graveside service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
Mack was a dear friend, I knew him from work, he was a caring and loving person and he will be missed by all that knew him. My Prayers will be with the family.

Dear Mike's Family, I had two connection with Mike, I am a granddaughter of Pete and Bertha Massey and knew him and his family well. I then went to work for Fieldcrest in the Technical Dept. And we renewed our acquaintance at Blanket Finishing. I cherish my memories of the McDaniel family.
