Lori & Lanny - My heart goes out to you during this difficult time! Praying for PEACE for all of you in the days ahead. How ironic I just got back to Texas after being there with Mom for two weeks. I actually thought of you Lori and always wanted to call and go to lunch BUT I know you understood I did not want to be away from Mom. I wanted to spend every minute I could with her. She went home on Sept 30th and she is no longer suffering. Now Lanford can be with Peggy and you will see them AGAIN one day as I will see my precious Mom. PEACE be with all of you!

I am saddened by the loss of a person that was a big part of my childhood, particularly as a teen. I remember visiting Lannie, Lanford always had time to talk about anything and for as long as you wanted to. He participated in a bowling league with Lannie, Jesse Edwards and myself and was always full of laughter and lots of fun. This is just one of the many things he did to be a father figure to all of us. He will be missed, but remembered for the memories he built in others life. May God bless and comfort Lannie and Lori and their families during this time of loss. May God wrap his loving spirit around you to help fill the empty void and hold you close to comfort you with his love.
