Gladys Frazier Robertson McFarling, age 84 passed away on Friday evening October 5, 2012 at Morehead Nursing Center.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm Tuesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Danview Cemetery. Mrs. McFarling was born March 26, 1928 in Rockingham County to the late Ed and Virgie Earles Frazier. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and was attending Bethel Baptist. Gladys retired from Fieldcrest Mills. Surviving are daughter, Vivian Thomason of Eden and four grandchildren Genia Turman, Kirk Thomasson, Troy Thomasson and Wendy Corum; six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 - 8 pm and other times at the home of her granddaughter, Wendy Corum , 317 Harry-Akers Street , Eden.
