Joshua Daniel Callahan, age 2, of 531 Azure Road in Venice, FL passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in Raleigh.
A funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, September 30, at Fair Funeral Home at 432 Boone Road in Eden.
Joshua is survived by his father, Mark Callahan of North Port, FL; mother, Michelle Danielle Harpster of the home; four brothers; maternal grandmother who lovingly called him "my turtle", Sandy Burley of the home; maternal grandfather, Duane Burley of Eden; aunt and God-mother, Holly Spinks and husband, Zonald of Tampa, FL; great-aunt, Linda Peet and husband, Robert of Eden; God-father, Shane Chavis of Eden; cousin, Evan Spinks of Tampa, FL; second cousins, Joshua Bell and Athena Peet of Eden; and the many other lives that Joshua touched.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Sunday afternoon at Fair Funeral Home.

I still think of this sweet baby often. I was 18 when this little boy used to come in often to my first job at a fast food restaurant and I loved to sneak him free toys and ice cream and see that beautiful face light up. Those cute little curls, he would melt anyones heart. Over 10 years later, I will never forget you. My condolences to the family, I am so sorry God called this angel home so soon.
