Patsy Ann Powell Wilson, age 71, departed this life on September 26, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

A service to celebrate Patsy Ann's life will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, September 30, at Happy Home United Church of Christ in Ruffin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born October 5, 1940 in Ruffin, daughter of the late Andrew Lawson Powell and Lelia Evans Powell.

Survivors include her three children, Eddie L. Roland and wife, Wendy of Huntersville, NC Andy W. Moore and wife, Carol of England and Patrick N. Wilson; grandchildren, Jacob, Drew and Rebeccah Roland, Brooke, Andy, Scott and Benjamin Moore, Ricky LaPrade, Kayla, Jordan and Samantha Carter; great-grandchildren, Jenna LaPrade and Kynleigh Pratt; step-children, Wesley and Mark Wilson; sisters, Dorothy Gammons of Ruffin and Norma Burks of Danville, VA; ex-husband, Eddie Roland of Eden; several nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lizora Harbor of Ruffin, brother, Kelly Powell of Ruffin; and husbands, Wesley E. Wilson and Wayne A. Moore.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home, 432 Boone Road in Eden.
