Mary "Louise" Gammon Santos, 80, passed away early Thursday morning, August 9, 2012, at Jacob's Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Madison.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 10, at Somer's Family Cemetery on Anderson Road in Reidsville.
Ms. Santos was born November 17, 1931 in Leaksville, NC, daughter of the late Frank David adn Bessie Jarrell Gammon. She was a retired tobacco farmer.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Newman and husband, Tim of Reidsville; granddaughter, Denise Hancock and husband, Joseph; great-granddaughter, Caitlin Newman; and brother, Wilbur Gammon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Herbert Gammon.
There will be no visitation.
