Dr. Fiore was a great Dr. and man, and was missed greatly when he left Eden. Fifteen years ago he insisted I get a Colonscopy which I did not want. He found a colon cancer and he and Dr. DeMason removed and saved enough intestine to tie to that I did not need a bag. I will always be grateful to them. I am dong great today. God Bless his Family.

Patti, Davis and Rachael, I was saddened to read of Dr. Fiore passing away. He was my physician and always took time to discuss health issues. I worked with Patti on the county's Heart Fund Committee and David and Rachael went to MHS with my daughter Stacey. The Fiore family contributed much to our community. The medical profession has lost a truly caring doctor. Please know that you all are in our prayers and thoughts. And thank you for all that you gave our county.

Pattie, David and Rachel, There are no words to express the depth of my condolences. Dr. Fiore was my doctor and my friend, as you were, Pattie. I had such love and respect for him as my physician. Although it has been many years since we were in touch, I feel as though I've lost a friend. Pattie, my heart aches for you and the children. My prayer is that God will wrap all of you in his arms and bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead. (David, my son Jon played soccer with you and asked me to please relay his sympathy to you. Jon lost his father a few years ago so understands the depth of your hurt.) With prayers and sympathy, Carol Gwynn

Hello Pattie, David and Rachael. I am so sorry to hear what happened. I am the shortest one who worked at Eden Internal Medicine with Dr. Fiore and I enjoyed working with him very much. I remember Rachael and David coming in there helping out. We would have so much fun even at work. Dr. Fiore sent you and I to a seminar on Being More Aggressive one time and then we stopped at a garden center and you bought about 200 pansies back for Dr. Fiore. I remember going to Smith Mountain Lake where he would take all of the employees of Eden Internal Medicine once a year. We all would have such a good time. I have photos of him and you that I will always cherish. You will continue to be in my prayers.

David, I was so saddened to hear that you lost your dad. I always heard such wonderful things about him as a physician and I know he made a positive impact on many people's lives. I pray that in this time of sorrow you will feel the love and support that you helped bring to our family during Alicia's illness and passing. You were always so generous to help in whatever way was needed whether with Boone the dog or the yard... your presence and willingness to lend a hand was such a blessing during a hard time. And now I hope you will feel the same kindness and love from others. You and your family are in my prayers, that you will feel peace and comfort from the Lord, the only one who is always there to turn to in times like these.
