James Taylor Williams, 83, passed away early Thursday morning, July 26, 2012 at Morehead Nursing Center in Eden.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Tuesday, July 31, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Williams was born August 10, 1928 in Rockingham County, NC, son of the late Early and Lillie Huff Williams. He was a US Marine veteran and was a retired truck driver for F. F. Phillips Concrete Company.
He is survived by his son, Early Ophus Williams of Ruffin; and two sisters, Opal Brown and Mary Jane "Tootsie" Patterson, both of Eden
There will be no formal visitation.
