Barbara Ray Mabe, 77, of 9557 N.C. 87, Wentworth, passed away Wednesday morning, July 11, 2012 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital in Reidsville.
A funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, July 14, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mabe was born October 1, 1934 in Spray, NC, daughter of the late Drewey and Dovey Nichols Ray.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Boss Mabe of the home; sons, Commissioner Keith "Zero" Mabe and wife, Rene, Kenneth Mabe, and Kevin Mabe, all of Eden; three grandsons, Dakota Mabe, Will Mabe and Andrew Mabe; brother, Donald Ray; and sister, Doris Lester.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, 7 - 9 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
