Arnold Jackson Bailey, Jr., 56 of 410 Schoolfield Road in Ruffin, passed away Wednesday morning, June 20, 2012, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 23, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Bailey was born July 17, 1955 in Rockingham County, NC, son of the late Arnold Jackson Bailey, Sr and Almeda Holley Bailey. He was formerly employed by Virginia Solite.

He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth and Jennifer Bailey; five grandchildren; brother, Jyles Creasey of Wentworth; five nieces and nephews; two great-nieces and one great-nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Brian Keith Bailey, Sr. and Arnold Jackson "Punkin" Bailey, Jr.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

I'm so sorry for the loss of such a Loving, Giving man. He was such a Big teddy bear even though he tried to play it tough on the outside. He will be greatly missed by not only his immediate family but everyone that had the Privilege of knowing him. He was the type of man that would drop everything to help out Anyone in need and there aren't many people left like that in this World today so God has received one of the Unique, Outstanding people that he so Graciously Blessed so many people with here on this Earth.
