Robert is my brother. we shared time together thoughout his life. I was there when he came into this world and was with him 2 weeks before he left for a much better world. He was a sweet spirit and we never had a cross word between us ever. He shared his vast knowledge with me about nutrition and medicines to avoid. It helped. We'll get back together on streets of gold.

For so many of us this world has much darkened with wonderful Robert Funderburk no longer in it. With such a sharp intellect and keen wit, he has been the finest, most thoughtful, kindest, and most noble man we've ever known. I can't imagine going on without his constant prayers and encouragement. Oh, how we shall miss him! We count our lives blessed to have had him in them. We send heartfelt condolences to the Funderburk family. Our hearts ache for you at losing such a rare gem and true prince of a man, a man who so dearly and deeply loved each of you. Until we meet him again on a glorious day upon Heaven's splend'rous shore, not a day shall pass when he'll not be remembered with much love. With heartfelt sympathy, ArLeen and Robert Lonneker
