Annie Mae Thacker Wilson, 91, of 1015 Ellett Avenue, passed away Monday evening, March 1, 2010 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, March 4, at Fair Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wilson was born July 3, 1918 in Ridgeway, VA, daughter of the late William Martin and Annie Odell Thacker. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and a retiree of American Tobacco Company. Surviving is her step-son, Jimmy L. Wilson; half-brother, Thomas W. Barnes; half-sister, Opal B. Ferguson; nephew, James T. West; and niece, Fayleen Hutchens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wilson.
