I knew Bill Hill from growing up on Cedar Street and Elm Street in Leaksville. I still remember how early he had to be at work every morning. Bill was a hard working man and a good father who always found time for his family. I am sending out a prayer to my friends Randall and Mike for peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I knew Mr. Hill from the time I was just a young kid in Draper when I would see him delivering bread to the stores. It wasn't until years later that I knew who he was. My prayers go out to Randall and the other family members at this difficult time. God bless you all.

I was very sorry to hear of Billy's passing. We were shipmates in boat unit # 2 at Little Creek, VA in 1953. We served temporary duty (TAD) at Camp LeJeune, NC as crew members on LCM's. Our off duty time was spent pitching horseshoes which Billy was very good at. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mike, Randy and their families at this difficult time. Your Dad always came to my Grandmother's home when we came to visit from Texas. We loved his personality and funny stories. I am happy I got to see him last summer. We had a nice visit. Again, my deepest sympathy to your family.

So Sorry i could not be at the funeral. Randy and Mike i will keep you and your families in my thoughts and prayers. Your dad always made me laugh. I remember going over in the summer with a friend and we would mow the lawn for him sometimes. We told him that he had hornet nests in the back yard and he said no,no, but he did, we all three were stung running from them. I also remember getting up really early in the morning a couple of times and going with him on his bread route. Look to God and he will see you through this difficult time.
