Christine Moxley Spencer, 93, formerly of 11859 NC Hwy 87 South, passed away early Thursday morning, March 8, 2012, at Morehead Nursing Center.
A graveside service will be held a 11 AM on Saturday, March 10, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Spencer was born September 8, 1918 in Danville, VA, to the late James Eugene and Mary Ethel Smith Moxley. She was a member of Spray Baptist Church since 1946 and a retiree of Karastan Service Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra S. Agee and husband, Mason of Eden; granddaughter, Lisa M. Agee; grandsons, Gary Agee and wife, Kristi and Mark Agee; great-granddaughter, Karsen Agee; great-grandson, Kyle Agee, all of Eden; and numerous nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Moir Spencer and son, Gary Lee Spencer.
There will be no formal visitation, however, family and friends may pay their respects at Fair Funeral Home anytime prior to the service.
The family would like to thank Morehead Nursing Center for the love and care given Christine.
