Margaret Jefferson Crawford, 79, of 852 Clarkway Drive in Eden, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 7, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ridgview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Crawford was born April 30, 1932 in Leaksville, NC, daughter of the late Willie and Myrtle Rumley Jefferson. She was a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills.
Surviving are her three children, daughter, Brenda Kay Crawford of the home; sons, Buddy E. Crawford and wife, Linda and Douglas W. Crawford, both of Eden; granddaughter, Margaret Marie Perkins of Eden; grandsons, George Marino, Mike Crawford, Michael Crawford, Chad Crawford, William Crawford, Jason Crawford and Matt Crawford; brother, Charles Jefferson of Eden; and sister, Frances Saunders of Eden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Worth Crawford; and sons, Eddie W. Crawford, Jr. and Donnie Crawford.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 7 - 9 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

I am so sorry for your loss. Granny Crawford was a wonderful person that will never be forgotten. I will always remember those glass bottled Cokes that she kept.
