Florence Ann Hustler Benthin, age 91, formerly of Meadowview Lane , Eden , passed away early Saturday morning February 25, 2012 at Morehead Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 3 pm Sunday February 26, 2012 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Benthin was born September 10, 1920 in Pittsburgh, Penn. to the late Robert and Anna Kohut Hustler. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Henry Benthin. Florence attended First Presbyterian Church in Eden and was a homemaker.
Surviving are daughter, Darlynn Beatty and husband John of Holly Springs, NC; son, Gary Benthin and wife Lorraine of Eden; daughter, Sondra Benthin of Cary, NC, grandsons, Captain Jonathan Beatty USAF and his wife Cynthia, and Gary Benthin II; great grandchildren, Faith, Adam and Kyle Beatty; sister, Lee Benson and husband Bill; brother, Jim Hustler and wife Louisa
Family will receive friends on Sunday prior to the service from 2 til 3 pm and other times at the home of her son Gary, 624 Creekridge Drive, Eden.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Florence was more like a sister to me. I am sorry I am not able to be there personally for them. Her suffering is over and she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior. What a glorious and comforting thought: Face to face with Christ my Savior ....when in Glory I behold Him, Jesus Christ who died for me!!
