My condolences are with the Blitz family for the passing of your beloved Richard. His passing is a devastating experience for your family and words are difficult to express at this time. Only God can provide the greatest comfort of all. The Bible based resurrection hope for Richard is outlined by Jesus that is recorded at John 5:28,29 and Acts 24:15. These are consoling words for your family during this time of sadness. Although you have faith in the resurrection, the pain of his passing at times will be overwhelming. The Bible addresses the pain in your hearts as stated at Psalms 34:18. It states, "God is near those broken at heart and crushed in spirit". So rely on the God of all comfort Jehovah because he will sustain you, strengthen you and comfort you at this most dreadful time (Psalms 55:22)
