Kathryn G. Trent, 85, of 323 Greenwood St., went to be with her Lord early Thursday morning at Hospice Home in Wentworth, NC. there will be a private graveside service at Spoon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Critz, VA, 11 am Monday November 28th, 2011 with Fair Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Trent was born October 11, 1926 in Patrick Co. Virginia to the late John H. and Mollie G. Gilley. She also worked for many years at Leaksville Woolen Mill as a machine operator. Surviving is her sister Rosa Land of Eden, NC and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis "Nick" Trent, two brothers and four sisters. There will be no formal visitation.
