Just a note to let you all know, you are in our thoughts and prayers. I wish we were able to be there during this time, but we're there in our hearts. Miss Daisy was always my hero because of her strength and humility. I hope you all can find peace in knowing she is completely healed and walking streets of gold. Most of all, she's in the loving hands of our loving God, feeling the warmth of His love. On another note, my Mom, Odessa Thompson asked me to send her love to you and even though her health won't permit her to be there with you, she'll always cherish her friendship with your Mom. She also said your Mom was such a good seamstress and good Mother to her family, that she was a good friend to her over the years.

I know what a hard time this is for your family. Just to seee her special smile and know what a good woman she was. She made this world a better place with her love. Her children will be her legacy. In months and years you will still miss her but the memories will go on. The best part is we will all meet in heaven one day soon. I extend to all of you me deepest sympathy and you know if I can do anything to make this time a little better for you, all you have to do is call. When I lost Shorty,I thouht my world would end and I found Griefshare at Growing Oaks Church. It helped me tremendously. I suggest that you try it for a few times. I just sit and cried for weeks and they understood what loss was. I love all of you and alwys have. May God take your hand and wrap his loving arms around each of you and make it bearable. Love, Linda Jefffries
