Irene Rose Tolbert Sanders, 72, of Price Grange Road, Eden, went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, October 16, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. A graveside service will be held at 4 PM on Wednesday, October 19, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens in Eden, NC She was born May 15, 1939 in Leaksville, NC; daughter of the late John Thomas "Babe" and Virginia Martin Tolbert. She was a member of King Memorial Baptist Church and a retiree of Bank of America. Surviving are her three sons, Michael Sanders and wife, Cindy of Danville, VA, Charles Sanders of Reidsville, and Bobby Sanders of Eden; daughter, Debbie Sanders of Eden; grandchildren, Jason and Mitch Sanders, Danielle Palma, Melissa Howell, and Sabrina Mueller; great-grandchildren, Triniti and Tianna Sanders, Nathan Palma and Valerie Howell; and two sisters, Ruth Richardson and Brenda Butner, both of Eden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Tolbert; sisters, Ann Clarke and Christine Isley; grandsons, Christopher, Josh and Justin Sanders; and daughter-in-law, Julie Bibee Sanders. The family will welcome friends at the home of the daughter, 141 Cedarwood Drive in Eden. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.fairfuneralhome.com
