Lucille was the best step grandmother anyone could ever have. She had an infectious smile and laugh. I will never forget all the Sundays after church at her house. I am certain I learned to cook watching her and mom in their respective kitchens. She was so good to my mom, Margaret. Mother loved her as if she were her own mom.I loved going there for lunch. No one fries chicken and makes potato salad like Lucille Simpson. She was a great cook. So look out Heaven if Lou gets in the kitchen it will be all over for the rest of the cooks. I have always loved her and she has a special place in my heart. I will miss her as you will however I know you are all happy for her as I am to be home with her Lord where she now belongs. Thanks for sharing her last years with me. Love, Teri Sumpter
