I remember Aunt Louise insisting I eat canaloupe; it was good for me. I remember little green apples and marveling how such a little woman could get so worked up by wrestling. God Bless and keep you. Sherrie Martin

What fun times I remember as a child riding in the back seat between Orear and Louise singing and acting silly....going to her house on Christmas Day to eat a wonderful dinner....and not to mention all the shopping we did with Christine. Rejoyce in the arms of the Lord.

I first met Audrey(Louise) in 1958 when I married into the Meeks/Covert family. She welcomed me into her family because she was family. Louise was always so sweet to Joan and I and when our children started coming along she welcomed each of them into her family. No matter where we lived when we were in the Air Force and got a chance to visit Leaksville our children always asked if we were going to see Aunt Louise? She was a lady in every respect and someone easy to like and then love. She will be missed by everyone that came into contact with her.

I was in my early teens when Louise married my uncle Orear who was a Marine at the time. I saw very early what a good person she was then and what a good and faithful wife she was to Orear while he was in the Marines and her complete married life. Sometimes she would take me to the movies on Saturday and sometimes she would bring her neice Dale who was a little girl at the time and we would all spend the day together. Over the years I've seen only love and devotion to all of her family members and especially her husband who she was totally devoted to and you could never ask her to do to much, she was a total giver. I will always love Louise and remember her goodness. Joan

I worked with Louise for several years at the Blanket Mill and she was always a dear friend to me. She was always trying to do things to help her friends. May her family always keep good memories of her with you. May your hearts be comforted and may God bless you. A Friend and Co-Worker, Jewel
