I worked with Patsy at Fieldcrest for many years. I was in the New York office and we became friends over the years. I admired her strength and courage when she battled cancer......and beat it. She was a classy, funny, honest, caring friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was such a lovely, genteel Southern lady.........I will miss her.

Miss Patsy was our neighbor. Until seeing this we had no idea she had passed. She was always walking in the neighborhood and she would stop and share in conversation with my 7 year old son and myself. We will miss her on Roberts St. Our prayers are with your family.

I worked with Patsy at Fieldcrest for many years. I always love to talk to her, she was so upbeat. After she retired, I didn't see much of her until I started going to Relay for Life events. It was really good to see and talk to her again and we spoke of how lucky we were to be survivors. I know she'll be sorely missed. She was a sweet person and loved by many.

The last time I saw her, she said, "I am old and loving it because I have found wisdom. I don't know why people dislike getting old!" Years ago she had also found empathy, compassion, and love for her God and her community. One of the most outstanding ladies I have ever met in my life. She will be missed immensely. My sympathy to her family and friends.

Patsy and Bill lived across the street from my mom and grandparents; needless to say she was part of our family. Whenever Pasty talked you just knew something funny would be said. She had such a practical and humorous view of life. She loved her church and volunteer work. I would have to say she is the classiest lady I ever knew. I‚Äö?Ñ?¥m glad to have known her and I will truly miss her. Our condolences and prayers to your family. Tripp Hankins & family.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. Leo Buscaglia I will never forget Ms. Patsy, for she was always kind and loving to me.

I didn't know Patsy well, but had met her several months ago when she came by the office I work in. I spoke with her many times after that and enjoyed our conversations. She was full of life and very spunky. I can tell by the kind words of others that she was a wonderful lady. I could tell that in the short time I knew her. God bless.

Caroline and family, You are in my thoughts and prayers today. I so much wanted to be at Patsy's service, but I have a virus. Patsy was a dear friend, and we had just had a "book talk" in the library just a week ago. We enjoyed a book club together several years ago and another book club long before that! We were friends with Dr. Paul Fiore who invited the two of us to be in his hospital reading group. Patsy and I shared a love of reading books and that is how I will remember her. The other thing I will remember is her love of family and her devotion to hers. I know she contributed greatly to the life of the Eden community and the Fieldcrest Mills family as well as as her service to Morehead Memorial Hospital. My prayerful concerns for you, Caroline, in the loss of two precious family members. Love, RAchel Wright

Worked with Patsy at Fieldcrest. She was a very dear lady and friend. I didn't get to see her as much as I liked to, but we always got together at Christmas (Fielcrest secretaries) and had lots to talk about. She will surely be missed.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Patsy. I worked many years with this very special woman and she was an exemplary example of her dedication to her job and in forming true and valuable friendships with her coworkers. She will no doubt be missed by many. God has taken a beautiful new flower to fill his garden. Praying for God's comfort to all those who grieve.
