Jackie Lee Rodgers, 47, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden, NC. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, September 2, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville, NC. A native of Rockingham County, Jackie was born December 15, 1963 in Draper. He was a former employee of Sara Lee Corporation and a member of Church of God. Surviving are his two sons, Richard Joshua "Josh" Lee Rodgers and Ryan "Samuel" Rodgers, both of the home; his mother, Joyce Travis Rodgers of Eden; and the mother of his children, Wendy Curry Rodgers of Axton, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1 - 2 PM on Friday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel and other times at the home of his mother, 500 Lake Street in Eden.
