We were so sorry to hear of Jewboy's passing. He was our neighbor on Warren Avenue many years ago and was such a good neighbor. He always had a smile on his face when we'd need his assistance at any if the grocery stores he worked at hewas always ready to help. May God give you all the peace that passeth all understanding during this time and in the days to ome. We'll always remember his smile.

I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of another one of my childhood friends from long ago. I lived a few houses down and across the street from "Jewboy's" home on Washburn Ave. We were all part of the old North Spray "Y" gang. Most of us went to the same school, were in the same class, and played together most of the time. Sometimes we fought. Unlike the gangs of today, we joined together in friendship and roamed the woods of the neighborhood and the banks of the Smith River. During these times intertainment was in short supply unless you created it yourself. We became very good at finding ways to pass the time. The "Y" was always there for a meeting place and where sports were a little more organized. There aren't many of the old gang left and "Jewboy" will truly be missed. Olin Shively, Burlington, NC
