Just wanted to say how sorry we are for your loss. Russ was truly one of the finest people in Eden. I will never forget when I first came to Eden and didn't know a sole. He was one of the first people that made me feel like I was one of the boys. We played a lot of softball together and I will never forget what a great friend he was. We haven't seen each other much in the last few years, but I know if I needed anything he would be there to help out. He will truly be missed. Ed and Ginny Jones

Inadell and family, Isn't it funny how you'll remember a scene from so many years ago when you think of a certain person. I can so clearly see Russ standing in line at the cafeteria at Morehead. He wasn't with a group of his buddies, he was just standing there calmly waiting. He was so admired as an athelete and person in high school but he was the type to not even realize it. He had a quiet confidence that was unusual for a kid his age. But that was just the way he was. I pray that God's love will fill your hearts at this time of loss.
