It was my great honor and joy to know Gail! She inspired me in her fight against cancer, but had I met her under other circumstances, I would have been equally impressed with her loving, sweet nature. What a truly lovely person she was! Heaven now has a precious angel. I will miss her greatly, but I rejoice in the healing that has now taken place. With love, Gail

There are just not any words for the kind of grief that comes with a loss of this kind. Gail was the nicest and sweetest person I ever knew. She was always so sweet to me and I was so grateful for that. The loss that is being suffered right now isn't fair, but there is comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain. Eric, Patrick, Rick, Brook - and the Tuttle family - I am so sorry for your loss. You're all in my prayers. Love, the Doughertys.

Rick, Patrick, Eric, Joan, Bradley, Barry and Lori and all Gail's loving extended family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Gail was the most courageous person in the face of great suffering and was surely a role model and example for all of us in our daily lives. Never complained, always worried about someone else not herself she was and is a truly special person. She will be missed here but heaven is a much better place now that she has entered God's kingdom and is tending his garden. We will all see her again one day and what joy that will be. We will continue to hold you in our hearts and prayers and are here for anything you may need. Love you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have never met such a strong, courageous and giving woman as Gail. She always carried a smile on her face no matter what the day may have had in store! She was a woman who never met a stranger. I enjoyed working with her all these years at the courthouse. She was a ray of sunshine that brightened the dark hallways of that old building! She will be greatly missed by many!

To all of Gail's family: I believe the glow of heaven became a bit brighter when Gail joined the heavenly congregation. I believe that Gail is singing and dancing among the angels. I believe that she is shimmering in radiance at this very moment. But, none of that helps your saddened, grief-stricken heart. A light has gone out in your world, and it is hard to see beyond that darkness. I offer my prayers on your behalf as you struggle through these difficult days of coping with your loss. May God be your Comfort, your Strength, and the Healer of your broken heart. Ellen Garrard

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. It is hard for all of us who knew and loved her, but she is now at peace and no longer suffering. Throughout the years, she always had a smile and was more concerned about the other person, than about herself and what she was going through. She is a true Christian. I admired and respected her, and will miss her, as we all will.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad and difficult time.

Do Not Stand At My Grave...Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there; I do not sleep. I am 1,000 winds that blow, I am diamond glints on snow. I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you wake in the mornings hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die. -Anon- I did not have the privilege to know Gail..tho her physical life is defeated, her goodness and compassion lives on..and her eternal life is forever. I grew up in the community with her Mom; Joan, her Uncle Kent, and Her Aunt Polly. My sympathy to the entire family, especially her Mom.
