Paul Wesley Robertson, Sr., 77, of Eden, NC, passed away Friday morning, July 1, 2011. A graveside service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, July 3, at Overlook Cemetery in Eden. A native of Rockingham County, Mr. Robertson was born July 20, 1933. He was a US Marine veteran and a member of Spray United Methodist Church. Mr. Robertson was a retired graphic designer and commercial artist. Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Janice Wall Robertson of the home; two sons, Paul Robertson, Jr. and wife, Cathy, of Laurinburg, NC and John Robertson of Eden; four grandchildren, Tyler and Alexandria Robertson of Laurinburg, and Gavin and Ethan Robertson of Eden; and sister, Dot Canady of Greensboro. Preceding Mr. Robertson in death was his father, John D. Robertson; mother, Annie Sue Hopper Robertson Lee; step-father, B. F. Lee; his four brothers, J. D., Bill, Joe and Jack Robertson; and sister, Louise Gray. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375 or to Spray United Methodist Church, 803 Morgan Road, Eden, NC 27288.
