Dear Hale family, I am so sad to learn of Karen's passing. She was a light in everyone's life. She is one of the few people I thought of every day, long before her illness because she brought such joy to my childhood. There are some people who have a lasting impact on your life, and Karen was one of those to me. Even though I had not seen or spoken to Karen in years, I knew that if we ever did re-unite, it would be as if no time had passed. I share in your loss. Love, Betty

To Jim and The Hale family: It saddened me to hear of Karen's passing. I know she fought a long, hard battle, with Jim family and friends there during this journey. Above all, I know her loving Heavenly Father never left her side. I pray for you all in the days to come. Please know how much she was loved and never forget that infectious smile. She is now fully healed, in the presence of the warmth of our Heavenly Father and among others, she has been reunited with her sweet Mother. Jim, I really respect and deeply admire your support that came natural because of your love for her. God bless you all. My Mother, Odessa Thompson asked that I send you all her sympathy as she has known the Hale family and thought so much of them.

To the Hale and Sineath family, I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Karen. I had heard she had been sick for a long time and kept up with her through Susan's reports. She was one of the sweetest people I remember from my childhood. I can see her smiling face now. May you know the healing touch of Jesus Christ in the days ahead and I pray for your family as you go through the days ahead. Blessings to you all in your time of loss. You know she is resting comfortably in the arms of Jesus and healed from all suffering. In Him, Annette Nicholson

Sending my love and prayers to Karen's family. I sang with her in the choir at the First Church of the Brethern before I was old enough to drive. I used to envy her voice and loved when she sang. I had goose bumps every time she hit the high notes. Now she is singing for GOD personally. Her personality was beautiful and her laughter was catching. She will be missed.

To Jim and the family of Karen, We want to express our deepest sympathy to all of you for the loss of such a special lady. As a child growing up in the First Church of the Brethren, I just thought Karen was one of the most beautiful ladies in the world. She always had a smile on her face and it was such a blessing to hear her sing. She definitely was a strong person and lived each day to the fullest even though she didn't always have the strength to make it through each day. She is resting in the arms of Jesus now with no more pain or suffering. We pray that God will comfort each of you and may the memories of such a special lady help to ease the pain. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Love and prayers,

Dear Family, Of Mrs. Karen Hale Sineath Karen was my very first kindergarden teacher, at douglass elementary school in eden, nc 27288. It was a very long time ago, since i had her as my teacher in 1977, i was 5 years old at the time, but i still remember karen as a kind compassionate and very careing person in the classroom. She was very young, full of energy, i really liked her in kindergarden. I remember her pretty blonde hair in kindergarden. And that she always would help us with our work activities, coloring, drawing, painting, holiday projects. Sorry in your loss, may god be with you and comfort you, during this difficult time.
