Debra Faith Burroughs Vernon, 49, of 3260 Ayersville Road, Mayodan. N.C., passed away Saturday morning May 14, 2011 at Hospice of Rockingham County. Graveside service will be held 11 am Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Roselawn Memorial Garden, Reidsville,N.C. Mrs. Vernon was born in Rockingham Co. to the late Dock O. and Doris Newman Burroughs on November 11, 1961. Debra was a former employee of Resti-Test as a respiratory therapist before becoming disable. Mrs. Vernon is survived by her brothers, Larry Burroughs and wife Wilma of Greensboro and Bruce Burroughs and wife Sandra of Stoneville numerous nieces and nephews and a special cousin and friend James Grogan,Jr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Dock O. Burroughs, Jr. There will be no formal visitation. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rockingham Couny, P.O.Box 281, Wentworth, N.C.
