My heart and prayers are with you "Aunt Polly" and family. Polly is one of my favorite role models and I keep her picture with me. She has certainly left her wonderful spirit and genuine caring and kindness as a lasting legacy to her niece as well as countless others. I wish I could have made the trip. Love to all of you. Susie

Aunt Polly - always full of life and joy. As we grew up in Eden we'd sometimes visit her and Grandma Clifton. Aunt Polly always seemed to always have a laugh in her heart, joy on her face and when asked pudding or some other kind of desert ready for us to gobble up. Although, we had moved away it was reassuring to know she was there. Now we'll always have her in our hearts and are the better for knowing and being related to her. Because of you Aunt Polly I will always have a laugh in my heart, joy on my face, and when asked by my grand children pudding or some other kind of desert ready for them to gobble up. We miss you Aunt Polly...

Don and Lena, are in my thoughts and prayers. To have to let your mother go is so hard and I understand. Please know that my love is with you today and always. Another angel in Heaven.

Janice, J.W., Sam & Don - I didn't learn about Pauline's death until a year later. If I had known at the time I would surely have been at the funeral service as Pauline was a dear, sweet person to me. Being a friend of Janice and being in and out of your home as a young girl, I never heard Pauline say an unkind word about anyone. She was always so uplifting and affirming for all of us. I thought so much of her and after I married and moved away from Eden, I would stop by to see her when I was back in town and she was always the same dear lady. I think about all of us children growing up on Fisher Street and the sweet times we had. Patricia Cochran Steagall
