Millie Jeanette Boaz Abbott, age 72 of 3103 Morgan Ford Road, Ridgeway, Va. passed away early Saturday morning March 26, 2011 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Ridgeway, Va. Millie was born February 1, 1939 in Leaksville, NC to the late Aubrey and Catherine Trent Boaz. She was in the Class of 1957' Drewey Mason High School and attended Harmony United Methodist Church. Millie was a retired waitress from Golden Coral in Eden. Surviving her memory is her husband of 54 years, LeRoy Abbott of the home, daughter; Debbie Ryan and husband Clarence of Bassett, Va. , sisters; Betty Spencer of Ridgeway, Myra Paschall of Reidsville, Patsy Harris of Eden, Linda Fabrizio and husband Jim of Jamestown, NC and Ann Nelson and husband Mack of Broswell, Va. brothers; William Boaz and wife Bridgette of Wilson, NC and Jimmy Boaz of Ridgeway. Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice.
