Glenwood Wayne Harbour, 58, 120 Deodara Lane, passed away early Friday morning, January 15, 2010 in Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, January 18 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA. Mr. Harbour was born March 30, 1951at Tri City Hospital in Leaksville, NC (now Eden). He had previously worked as a long distance truck driver. Surviving is his father, William C. Harbour of Ruffin; children, Suzanna Amos and husband, Wayne of Madison, and Robert Wayne Harbour and wife, Lynn of East Ellijay, GA; two grandchildren, Bristol Harbour and Jessie Amos; sister, Nancy Denny of Danville, VA; brother, David Lee Harbour of Ruffin; two nieces; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gracie Mae Lawson Harbour; and his step-mother, Lizora Harbour. The family will receive friends Sunday evening 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 671 Happy Home School Road in Ruffin. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Wesleyan Church, Building Fund, 186 E. Aiken Road, Eden, NC 27288. Online condolences may be offered to the Harbour family at www.fairfuneralhome.com

Suzanna, So very sorry of the lost of your Dad. I know that he loved you and that you loved him very much. I will be unable to attend the services for him as I was just released from the Cone Hospital Friday after a 6 day stay.
