To all of my cousins family-----I am lost for words. Cecil was like my brother, as a matter of fact, we were closer with each other than I was with my real brother. I know all of you are hurting and I pray GOD will be with you all during this very sad time. I loved Cecil and we have been very close since we realized we were family....many trips to Eden years ago and even recently before I moved to Florida. I love all of you and I too will never ever forget your Dad, grandfather, or brother.....His passing has left a big hole in my heart.

To Wayne, Linda, Julie, Jan and others in the family. I was quite saddened to hear about Cecil passing. Upon hearing this, I continued sitting in my chair for quite some time.... sad and reminiscing. I knew Cecil, his Mom, siblings and kids since he was 8 years old living in Carolina Heights. (By coincidence, his daughter "hung out" with my daughter, April, for a brief time when she lived in Eden). Back then, all kids in that area knew and played together almost every day. Joan lived nearby. Cecil was always a good honest smart kid. This never changed thru out his life. Because I have lived in Salisbury for 22 years, I rarely had the opportunity to see Cecil (and Joan) but I have always thought he would do anything for me if I asked. That was just the way he was. I'm sure Cecil is now with our Lord, may he help you through this time of sorrow.
