Lillie Hundley Ratliff Roberts, 87, of 202 Bedford Drive, passed away Monday, February 14, 2011 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, February 17, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts was born January 10, 1924 in Spray, NC, daughter of the late Ralph and Zela Ludwick Hundley. She was a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church in Reidsville and enjoyed the Loretta Martin Water Color Class until her health declined. Mrs. Roberts was a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills / Karastan Rug Mill. Surviving are her four daughters, Gloria Hall and husband, Jimmy of Eden, Dawn Solomon and husband Larry of Stoneville, Kathy Hayes of Reidsville, and Tammy Pruitt and husband, Mark of Ruffin; two sons, Jerry Ratliff and wife, Deborah and Gary Ratliff and special friend, Marlina Martin, both of Eden; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Hundley, Jr. of Greensboro, Henry Hundley and Gordon Hundley, both of Eden; sister, Beulah Yarbrough of Eden; and her special friend, Garnet Barber of Eden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, John Alec Ratliff, Jr. and later, James Bunion Roberts; and five sisters, Louise McCollough, Gladys Delesi, Ruth Scott, Gertrude Smith, and Frances Carter. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 202 Bedford Drive in Eden.
